One Small Gesture

It's amazing how small, unexpected acts of kindness can make a huge difference in someone's life. You never know who needs to experience this power through you.

This morning was quite eventful. I started the day with exercise and morning prayers, had an encouraging call, sent out a draft newsletter for review, and scheduled a few events. To top it all off, the rain stopped just in time for me to run some errands with my youngest child.

However, our errands took longer than expected, and my little one was getting hungry. So, we stopped at the grocery store for lunch. I hesitated to get in the long line but decided to wait anyway. To my surprise, the customer in front of me paid for our lunch. I was overwhelmed by her generosity and thanked her. I even asked for her name to thank her personally later.

This unexpected act of kindness made my day. I was inspired to pay it forward by letting other cars go while driving and sharing my lunch with my other children. It also motivated me to perform one random act of kindness each day this month. If you want to join me, here's a calendar you can use to add your daily acts of kindness. Let's spread positivity and make a difference, no matter how small our actions may seem.

What a wonderful start to this season.
