Meet the Organizations


It's Time to Play! Do you ever wonder how time passes so quickly? It's hard to believe that the event is this week. Join us Friday, March 3rd, from 7-10 PM at Carousel Gardens. We have a variety of nonprofits offering essential services for the community. In no particular order, here's a quick summary of the mission statements with links to each organization's page. Early Partners nurtures the development of young children by providing equitable access to high-quality early learning centers and supporting those closest to the child’s development: teachers and families.


GiGi's Playhouse New Orleans' mission is to change how the world views Down syndrome (DS) and send a message of global acceptance for all.


CSNOI shall positively impact lives by providing accessible educational opportunities and the promotion of health on Lake Pontchartrain for all in the population of the region regardless of age, background, and abilities, including, as a core mission, serving the low and moderate-income and minority communities in metro New Orleans by providing access to a community asset that has been historically inaccessible to those large segments of the population.


Parenting for Life Resource Center’s mission is to empower parents to become engaged in raising confident, emotionally happy, and healthy children. In a non-judgmental manner, we pledge to educate and train parents to develop the competence and confidence required to become active and engaged parents.


Ask Wonder Explore Our goal is to create a space for children to ASK questions about the world around them, WONDER about solutions to problems that they face today and will face tomorrow, and EXPLORE to make discoveries to construct knowledge and gain an understanding of different facets of science through the lens of STEAM (Science Technology Engineering Art and Mathematics) and the NGSS (Next Generation Science Standards).


Black Women DO Heal’s mission is to promote holistic healing to Black and Brown Women. We facilitate conversations of healing, respite activities, retreats, empowerment, recovery life coaching, and resources to culturally competent therapists specializing in treating Black and Brown women.


Crown Me Foundation was established out of necessity to help improve the futures of our struggling Women and Girls. Our goal, purpose, and mission are to rectify the miseducation and misguidance our young females of color face today.


Women N Business aims to provide business development services, financial literacy & disaster recovery.


Mother’s Helpers aims to provide resources, services, and opportunities to children, youth, and families.


Autism Society of New Orleans exists to create connections, empowering everyone in the Autism community with the resources needed to live fully.


Women Determined aims to help transform women's lives, especially those formerly incarcerated.


The SEED's mission is to strengthen, educate, empower, and develop youth.
