About the event
During the field trip, students will explore customer service, teamwork, food preparation, restaurant operations, and business basics. Depending on the location and available programming, students may have an opportunity to see parts of the restaurant that aren't typically visible to customers and learn from team members about their roles.
Students will explore:
How a restaurant operates from opening to closing
Teamwork & communication in a fast-paced environment
Customer service and creating a positive customer experience
Money & business basics, including sales and operations
