About the event
At Global Wildlife Center, education is paramount. Children are taught the value of wildlife conservation and education through experience. The effectiveness of touch as a teaching tool is evident every day at Global Wildlife Center. Here, children are able to pet the long necks of giraffes, feel the wooly fur of bison, and rub the soft heads of llamas.
The wagon tours last for an hour and 15 minutes.
The tour guides will take different paths
throughout the 900 acre facility educating guests
on the different species of animals.
Tour topics vary depending upon the age of the
students on board. Some information that may
be discussed on tour could be animal anatomy
and behavior, conservation, and environmental
impacts.
You're welcome to bring a bag lunch from school
or home. Picnic tables are available on a first
come, first serve basis.
